How to use the QR code generator
- Paste an Etsy link. Your shop (
yourshopname.etsy.com), a shop section or a listing. The tool only accepts links on etsy.com and addshttps://if it's missing. To get a listing link, go to Shop Manager, then Listings, click the gear icon on the listing and choose Share. - Set the size. Choose 120 to 900 pixels. For anything printed, download the largest size and scale it down in your design tool, because scaling up makes it blurry.
- Set the margin. The margin field adds a white border in pixels (0 to 20). The default is only 1 pixel, so if the code will sit on a colored or patterned background, raise it to 20 or leave clear space around the code in your design.
- Pick colors. Keep a dark code on a light background. Light-on-dark or low-contrast pairs are harder for phone cameras to read.
- Generate and download. Click Generate QR code, then Download PNG or Copy image link. Scan the result with two different phones before you print a batch.

Etsy refunds 4% of eligible orders placed within 30 days of a buyer clicking your link. Once you're enrolled,
shop links in the
yourshopname.etsy.comformat count, and you can get trackable links for listings from the gear icon. Etsy lists business cards among the places to share them, so a QR code is a natural fit. - Shop name changes: if you rename your shop, links to the old name redirect to the new one (Etsy Help), so printed codes keep working.
- Gift orders: Etsy's own packing slip for orders marked as gifts already includes a QR code that sends the recipient to your shop (Etsy Help). Your own QR code is for everything else: inserts, stickers, signs.

FAQ
Do the QR codes expire?
No. The link is encoded directly in the image, with no redirect service in between, so the code works as long as the Etsy link does. The flip side is that you can't change where it points: for a new link, make a new code.
Can I link to something that isn't on Etsy?
Not with this tool. It only accepts etsy.com addresses, including yourshopname.etsy.com links.
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up. The images are created with the free goQR.me QR code API.
